Norwegians struggle for common sense in a time prone to mass psychosis

The People in Norway are scared. On the one hand, they are afraid of the coronavirus, and on the other, they are afraid that the authorities and citizens will implement coercive measures and surveillance in an ever-escalating process until the totalitarian is generalized.

I do not want to whip up hysterical concern. I have worked in intelligence structures and global environments in Norway and internationally for many years before we started Resett. I feel pretty confident in what they do and do not do. This is not a hatched plan from a globalist elite that is now being followed to the letter. Rather, it is the circumstances and human inclinations in combination with ideology that make the measures against the various virus variants spread globally. But the result can be quite similar in both cases, ie whether it is a conspiracy of an elite or whether it is a gradual step into a future few or no one really quite wants.

Fear is the basic precondition for getting people to accept restrictions on their own and others' freedom. And it is present now. People fear the virus, they fear the vaccine, they fear losing their jobs, not managing the electricity bill, they fear the unvaccinated, etc. As professor of psychology Matthias Desmet says , this fear is the prerequisite for mass psychosis and that people suspend their common sense.

Again, society is about to be shut down, people stop traveling, the state of emergency is back. In 2020, these shutdowns occurred with a more widespread belief that there could be a solution in sight. And those were the vaccines. With the word vaccine, most people understood something that would prevent us from becoming infected, could infect others and become ill. But now it is becoming increasingly clear, something even the WHO admits , that the only thing the vaccines help against in particular is the severity of the disease. We all know some fully vaccinated people who are infected. Those who have been vaccinated have lost all faith that they are protected. So their fears increase as well.

It seems overwhelmingly likely as far as I can judge from the expertise that variants of this virus will be with us for generations to come. Should it continue to lead to serious illness in enough cases, it is not good to say how different society will look in the future. At worst, it will be a totalitarian dystopian surveillance and coercive vaccine society. We must oppose this as well and efficiently as we can.

But at best, we can already see with the omicron variant that the symptoms are so mild that even though the infectivity has increased, there may be a consensus to rather live with the virus living in the population as common cold and flu viruses do.

Fear is the new weapon of mass destruction, not because it is legitimate, but because the people have lost all will to be free, have lost all ability to think, and seek shelter and comfort as a collective herd only capable of existing in a society that is based on totalitarian rule.”
