Nytt selskap overtar Nicolai Tangens eierandel i Ako Capital

En av forutsetningene for at Nicolai Tangen skal kunne være sjef for oljefondet er nå i ferd med å komme på plass.

Den veldedige stiftelsen Ako Foundation har opprettet et nytt datterselskap som skal overta Nikolai Tangnes andel i Ako Capital.

For å unngå interessekonflikter har den nyansatte sjefen for oljefondet sagt at han vil overføre sin andel i sitt selskap Ako Capital til stiftelsen Ako Foundation.

Nå har stiftelsen opprettet et datterselskap, Ako Subsidary 2020 Ltd., som skal overta Tangens eierandel, skriver Dagens Næringsliv.

Styret i det nye selskapet består av David Woodburn, Tangens makker fra Ako Capital, Philip Lawford, daglig leder i Ako Foundation, og Sally Procopis, styremedlem i Ako Foundation.

Det betyr at flertallet av styret ikke er å betegne som nærstående av Tangen, noe som var en forutsetning.

«Styret som nevnt i Ako Subsidary 2020 ltd. tilfredsstiller de forutsatte krav til styret. Av de tre, er det kun David Woodburn som er definert som nærstående til Nicolai Tangen», skriver kommunikasjonsdirektør Runar Malkens i Norges Bank i en epost til avisen.
