NORWAY IS ACTUALLY OVERPOPULATED!
By The Norway Democrats-Geir Ugland Jacobsen-11 September 2026
We managed just fine with a population of 4 million and no oil in 1970. Since then, 1.7 million people have immigrated (including their offspring), and we have acquired a massive oil fund. However, for several reasons, there is no national sustainability for 5.7 million people when—unfortunately—an ever-smaller proportion contributes positively to society.

All indicators in Norway are now pointing downwards, except for the population count and prices. Everyone expects housing, regardless of their contribution to society or their need for public assistance.
There are complaints about housing shortages, and cities are being expanded and densified to an ever-increasing degree. This generates short-term employment, but in the long run, it entails serious negative consequences for the housing market and the environment, as well as for the finances and quality of life of the Norwegian people.
Rural Norway is being de-prioritized and left to decay. National self-sufficiency is at a historic low. Our natural environment is being plundered, polluted, depleted, and diminished.
Norway is in urgent need of new politicians and entirely new policies that promote the country's genuine long-term sustainability and put the Norwegian people first!
