WHO IS REALLY GOVERNING THIS COUNTRY?

IS IT THE KING OR IS IT THE GOVERNMENT?

I have to be honest and say that I don't know. After I found out that it is the King who rules in Norway, yes, it says so in the Constitution, I was quite surprised. In the Constitution, it is written in black and white that it is the King who has the executive power (§2). He even takes an oath before the Storting, that is, the people, which reads as follows:

§ 9: As soon as the King, as an adult, takes office, he takes this oath before the Storting: "I promise and swear that I will rule the Kingdom of Norway in accordance with the Constitution and the laws, so help me God the Almighty and All-Knowing!"

This is one hundred percent true, you just have to check the Constitution. In §2 it also says that the King has the executive power in Norway, but how do they explain that the King should not get involved in politics? Soon, it will be Håkon Magnus who will take the same oath when he takes over as King, and he has made a number of political statements. So he is doing what they claim he is not supposed to do. He is also a board member or has been in the WEF and is a "Young Global Leader" together with Mette Marit.

If it is really the King who rules this country, then this actually makes a lot of sense. Then the members of the King do exactly as they want, while outwardly they pretend that they do not decide anything. There are other things I can think of that are not up to the mark: In §1 it says that "The Kingdom of Norway is a free, independent, indivisible and inalienable kingdom. The form of government is limited and hereditary monarchical." First, why have we entered into the EEA agreement if the Constitution states that we are a free, independent and inalienable kingdom? Inalienable means that something cannot be disposed of, sold or given away.

Secondly, when a form of government is limited and hereditary monarchical, does it mean that the King is the head of state with the power to rule? Is it King Harald who has sold out our country bit by bit or is it the government? They meet in the cabinet every Friday. What do they talk about there? Who decides what will happen? Is it the King who gives orders to the government? If the King does not have the executive power that they claim, why is the Constitution the way it is?

It is said that politicians have shown great reluctance to make changes to the Constitution, that it would have been a total legal restructuring of hundreds of paragraphs to remove the word "King" and replace it with "Government" or "Council of States." I don't know how you look at this, but I feel cheated. It feels dishonest, especially because Norway has not been looked after by either King Harald and Queen Sonja or the government.

Those who have been subjected to injustice in Norway, and there have been many of them, experience a legal system that does not take people's needs seriously. They do not seem to relate to laws at all, but choose to interpret them in their favor. People who go to court often lose to the State and in addition they have to pay legal costs that have already been paid for by tax money. They are therefore paying double for their own case. People are treated like garbage as if they are slaves, that they have nothing to say. The Constitution also states that children should be heard, but I have seen many cases where that does not happen.

During King Harald's time, the state has become richer while the people have become poorer. Was that how he intended it to be? Even though they receive around 300 million kroner a year from the people's tax money. Do they lack the ability to understand the everyday lives of ordinary people? If it is true that they are not supposed to speak out politically, could they still have said something about their people? That made us understand that they really care about us? What does the phrase "Everything for Norway" really mean to them?

Another question is whether we need someone who gets 300 million kroner of our tax money a year to represent Norway, which they claim the money goes to? And if so, what kind of Norway does the King represent? There is not much left of our country today thanks to the EEA Act. Section 2 of this Act directly states that rules that fulfill Norway's EEA obligations shall take precedence over other laws in the event of conflict. Also check out Section 26! What kind of role will our future King and Queen have in the future when there will soon be no more Norway?

Many want to continue to have a monarchy, but at what price? Do we want to continue to be subjects of a kingdom that is crumbling to the ground? I know what I want, but what do you think? Is the monarchy viable?
