EVERY HUMAN BEING CARRIES AN INVISIBLE BURDEN.

Every human being carries an invisible burden. Some learn to live with it. Others, unable to bear its weight, unconsciously cast it upon the world. Their pain finds expression as judgment, bitterness, ridicule, condemnation, or endless criticism. It appears in careless words, in harsh opinions, in the relentless need to expose the faults of others.

They criticise the weather, society, their neighbours, the times in which they live—anything but the silent wound within themselves. This is not cruelty alone. It is often a form of self-preservation.For to look inward requires courage. It asks us to meet the parts of ourselves we have spent a lifetime avoiding. It is easier to believe that suffering originates outside us than to discover how much of it remains unhealed within.

The mind protects itself by creating enemies where there are only mirrors. The tragedy is not that such people wound others. The deeper tragedy is that they remain strangers to themselves. If you have found the courage to descend into your own depths, do not surrender your light to those who have not yet begun that journey.Their shadows cannot diminish your light unless you allow them to become your own.

Nothing they say is truly about you. Every judgment reveals more of the one who judges than of the one being judged. The wisest response is neither resentment nor superiority, but compassion—for they are carrying a burden they have not yet learned to lay down.

The world does not change because darkness argues with darkness. It changes because, somewhere, someone chooses to become light.
