This is not politics anymore. It is collective denial.What we are watching is not disagreement over policy or ideology. It is the public normalization of behavior that, in any other context, would be considered disqualifying: chronic lying, impulsive cruelty, contempt for reality, and a visible inability to accept limits. The disturbing part is not that one man behaves this way. History has seen such men before.The disturbing part is that so many people, including educated and capable ones, pretend not to notice.

Power has replaced judgment. Those closest to him are not blind. They are silent. Silence is mistaken for loyalty, and loyalty is rewarded more than competence or truth.Over time, this creates a closed system where sanity becomes a liability and flattery becomes survival. Common sense has not disappeared. It has been penalized. Language has been hollowed out.We are told to be “civil,” to “respect differences,” to avoid “strong words.”
