DOES ANYONE ELSE FEEL IT BOILING A LITTLE INSIDE WHEN OPENING THE NEWS THESE DAYS?
By FB- By Lars Stromberg/T.C-Human Synthesis-27 December 2025
I feel it physically — a restlessness that settles in the body. Not because the world is dangerous, but because the way we are being spoken to is starting to feel… almost insulting. As if someone thinks we aren’t paying attention. As if we don’t see the patterns. As if we don’t understand what’s happening.
First come the headlines hammering home that “the USA is failing” and that Norway stands alone in an increasingly unsafe world. Then — almost on cue — the solution comes rolling in: we must tie ourselves more closely to the EU. It all happens so synchronously that it’s hard not to react.
And I can feel that I don’t buy it. Not this time.
Fifteen years ago I might not have questioned it — I might even have nodded it through without thinking. But now I see the patterns more clearly. Now I recognize when a narrative is being pushed onto us.
Have we really forgotten who we are?
I grew up with a very different understanding of Norway. A country built stone by stone by people who didn’t wait for others to save them. A people who stood upright in the storm, who took responsibility, who worked, who created. A people who knew that independence wasn’t something you were given — it was something you held on to.

We were not afraid to stand on our own feet.
We trusted ourselves.
We trusted our country.
Now it seems as if we’ve forgotten that backbone.
We’ve seen how the “EEC/EU” project has developed. What was once presented as a purely trade-based agreement has gradually turned into a political machinery that pulls more and more power away from the nations and into a system none of us really control.
And in the middle of this, fear of war is being used as leverage. As an argument for giving up more of what makes us who we are:
- our national self-respect
- our control over our own defense
- Something about this doesn’t add up.
- our sovereignty
Something feels off. Because when the EEA Agreement begins to cost more than it gives, when it feels more like a straitjacket than a partnership — then we must dare to ask questions. Then we must dare to speak up. Why should we allow ourselves to be governed from Brussels when we sit on resources the entire world demands? Why should we give up control over what is ours? Why should we accept fear being used as a political tool? I believe many feel the same thing.
A restlessness.
An irritation.
A sense that something is slipping away from us.
And that’s why I say this now:
We must rediscover the pride we once had.
The pride that made us strong.
The pride that made us independent.
The pride that made us Norway.
Let us stand upright again.
Let us negotiate our own agreements, on our own terms.
Let us send a crystal-clear message to those sitting in the Government:
We see through the game. We do not want to be pushed in a federal direction.
We want trade — but not at the expense of Norwegian sovereignty.
It’s time to put our foot down.
We want our country back !!

The same goes for Europe, the USA and principally for all countries eager for INDEPENDENCE.!!
