The genocide is financed by companies that profit from Israel's crimes.

In Norway, the genocide has been made into an economic project through the Norwegian Government Pension Fund International – more precisely called the Oil Fund. We make a lot of money from Israel's war against the Palestinians, both in the West Bank and in Gaza.
Human rights lawyer Francesca Albanese:
At the same time, our politicians wash their political hands and blame the head of the Petroleum Fund, who in turn points to the Council on Ethics. But it is the politicians who control this system and who have the real responsibility for Norway's "financing" of the genocide - it is the politicians who decide. The fact that they have left the day-to-day decisions to others does not absolve them of the overall responsibility.
That the Oil Fund invests in companies that either wage war for Israel or profit from Israel's warfare is nothing new. What is new is that no one in charge has put a stop to this – even after the open war on Gaza broke out. Instead, we are left with political cowards who are experts in excuses and empty excuses – but who do not lift a finger.

Francesca Albanese: "The genocide in Gaza is being driven by companies that profit from Israel's crimes."

The UN Special Rapporteur on the Occupied Palestinian Territories, Francesca Albanese, exposes the global economy marked by genocide.
The genocide in Gaza is being driven by corporations that profit from Israel's crimes . By extension, we, the consumers of their products and services, have the power to influence the system, according to Albanese.
We can't have one strategy that fits all sectors. So we have to start where the low-hanging fruit lies, both individually and collectively.

STRICT RULES ON THE NORWEGIAN OIL FUND INVESTMENTS
Ethical Investment Criteria
The GPFG adheres to ethical guidelines that exclude investments in companies involved in:
- Severe environmental damage
- Human rights violations
- Production of tobacco, weapons, or nuclear arms
- Severe corruption
Exclusions are based on recommendations from the Council on Ethics, an independent body appointed by the Ministry of Finance.
Usage of Fund Returns
The GPFG's returns are primarily used to support Norway's national budget, with a fiscal rule allowing the government to spend up to 3% of the fund's value annually. This spending is intended for public investments, including infrastructure, education, and research, rather than for general administrative expenses
In summary, the Norwegian oil fund is governed by a comprehensive set of rules that prioritize financial stability, ethical investment practices, and responsible use of returns to benefit current and future generations.
Nammo AS
- Direct and Indirect Sales: Nammo's U.S.-based subsidiary, Nammo Talley, has sold various munitions to Israel, including:
- M72 Light Anti-Tank Weapons (LAW)
- Bunker-buster bombs
- Armor-piercing ammunition
- Parts for the F-35 fighter jetThe Electronic Intifada+2aoav.org.uk+2aoav.org.uk+2Wikipedia+2The Electronic Intifada+3The Ditch+3workersinpalestine.org+3
- Legal and Ethical Concerns: Norwegian law prohibits direct arms sales to countries engaged in armed conflict. However, Nammo has defended its actions by stating that once the munitions are sold, it cannot control their subsequent use, a stance that has faced criticism from various organizations .The Electronic IntifadaWikipedia
Kongsberg Gruppen
- Collaborations and Indirect Involvement: Kongsberg Gruppen has been linked to Israel through:
- Partnerships with Israeli defense company Rafael Advanced Defense Systems on missile systems.
- Supplying components for the F-35 fighter jet, which is used by Israel.
- Ownership stakes in Nammo, thereby indirectly involved in Nammo's sales to Israel .workersinpalestine.org+2The Ditch+2Wikipedia
- Public Scrutiny: The Norwegian government owns a significant portion of Kongsberg Gruppen, leading to public debates and protests over the company's involvement in supplying weapons to Israel .
So Norway ARE guilty in taking part in the Israel genocide in Palestine through arms and ammo sales.
The Norwegian citizens should start an enormous protest from all the counties of Norway, also writing protests to their local political representative.
