The Bilderberger meeting in Stockholm, June 12-15.

By Derimot-Knut Lindtner, Editor-June 19, 2025

The Bildenberger Group has had a meeting in Stockholm from 12-15 June this year at the Grand Hotel in the Swedish capital. Below is an agenda of global issues as well as a list of all participants.

From the set agenda you will find many key global issues today:

  • Transatlantic relations
  • Ukraine
  • United States economy
  • Europe
  • Middle East
  • The authoritarian axis
  • Innovation and resilience in defense
  • Artificial Intelligence, Deterrence, and National Security
  • Proliferation of weapons of mass destruction
  • Geopolitics around energy and critical minerals
  • Population decline and migration

What is the Bildenberger Group?

The Bilderberg Group – power without transparency

The Bilderberg Group (also known as the Bilderberg Meeting or the Bilderberg Conference) is a closed forum where leading figures from politics, business, academia, finance, defense, and the media meet to discuss global issues. The group was established in 1954 and is named after its first meeting place: Hotel de Bilderberg in Oosterbeek, Netherlands.

It goes without saying that one does not gather prominent political and economic leaders without a purpose. The purpose is, of course, to set guidelines for future policy – both nationally and globally. The meetings are closed to the public. The press is not allowed in.

No formal decisions are made, but the participants are undoubtedly influenced by what is said. No minutes are kept, and no one is allowed to quote what others have said. This is a form of exercising power – without responsibility.

This is contrary to the basic principles of a vibrant democracy, where everyone who participates in political processes must speak their mind and be accountable to the voters. Here, key decision-makers in a number of countries do not have to abide by the usual democratic rules of the game. Instead, they coordinate views and strategies – without the population knowing what is being discussed.

Is the West really democratic? When you look at meetings like this – and similar gatherings at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos – the answer is no. We live in what can best be described as pseudo-democracies : democracies in form, but not in content. It is the power of money that rules – and the Bilderberg Group is one of their most important meeting places to coordinate their activities from year to year. The fact that the population is allowed to choose who will administer these activities in each individual country is called democracy.

(The Bilderberg Group members are also now members of the Freemasons worldwide.)
