Like a nuclear weapon without the toxic side effects.

I think Oreshnik is a game-changer in every sense of the word. It is precise. It has the impact of a tactical nuclear weapon without needing radioactive material to start a chain reaction.
It doesn't create a massive fireball or a toxic cloud that can block out the sun. It is a genuinely new type of strategic weapon.
Oreshnik can inflict massive destruction on a fairly large area (say, 2-3 square kilometers, as in the case of Yuzhmash) without causing mass civilian casualties – provided that the civilians have been evacuated after prior warning. In other words: the destructive power of a tactical nuclear weapon with the precision of a sniper's bullet.
As Professor Ted Postol said during an interview with Danny Davis last Friday: "I've never seen anything like it." And best of all: there is not a single air defense system in the West that is capable of stopping it. That's what I mean when I call it a game changer .
Today's three interviews discussed various aspects of Oreshnik and the direction of the war in Ukraine. I started the day with Nima and Judge Napolitano and ended it with Danny Davis' Deep Dive . (By the way: congratulations to Danny, who now has 100,000 subscribers.) Enjoy the dokker.
