All illegal foreign immigrants must be apprehended and removed, one way or another.

If you want to understand why America's second most populous city now resembles a dystopian hellscape—with masked barbarians smashing the windows of LAPD headquarters, maniacs in cars spinning in circles on the sidewalks and streets, foreign nationals waving Mexican flags and throwing rocks at passing cars, and Antifa militants throwing Molotov cocktails and riding their motorcycles into police lines—you have to go back about forty years.

That's when Ronald Reagan nearly swept the presidential election by winning 49 states. Shortly after this sweeping victory, Reagan signed legislation that would make it impossible for any Republican presidential candidate to achieve the same margin of victory again. He pulled up the ladder behind him, in ways that no one really appreciated at the time. And he did it by granting amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants who had entered the United States.

That decision set in motion an unprecedented demographic shift that would torpedo any hope of national unity going forward. To appease any skeptics, Reagan’s amnesty legislation was presented as a “one-time deal.” The idea was that the government would take border security more seriously going forward. But it was never a convincing argument.

Everyone knew that more migrants would flood into the country, now that the United States had shown its reluctance to deport illegal immigrants. That’s why even Ronald Reagan—one of the most popular presidents of all time—couldn’t sell the proposal to the public. Most Americans opposed the bill.

Yet it was passed. Both parties united to push it through Congress. And shortly thereafter, America began to change in ways we still don't fully understand. Take a look at this graph from Pew. It shows the percentage of Hispanics in every county in the United States, as of 1980.

At the time, Hispanics made up just 6% of the country’s population. There were only 403 counties in total—out of more than 3,000 counties in the country—where Hispanics made up more than 5% of the population.

Now, take a look at Pew’s 2020 chart:

Forty years later, Hispanics make up more than 20% of the population—and that’s just the ones we know about. Of course, these numbers don’t include illegal immigrants. But even the official statistics are striking. Hispanics now make up at least 5% of the population in more than 1,400 counties.

This is a change that has been particularly evident in California. Take a drive through downtown Los Angeles once, and you'll see the signs everywhere. (In fact, you'll literally see the signs, because many of the street signs are now written in Spanish) . Compton is particularly unrecognizable. In the early 1900s, Compton was about 95% white (as in, non-Hispanic white) . By the 1960s, the white population was down to 33%. And now it's about 0.5%.

Additionally, the black population in Compton increased dramatically around 1970, to 70%. Now, about 70% of Compton is Hispanic. In other words, Hispanics have essentially replaced the native-born population in Compton—and in many other neighborhoods in California.

This has not been a peaceful takeover. It was a hostile invasion by a foreign power – one that does not even pretend to respect our laws or culture. Against their will, American citizens have been forced to watch as large parts of the state of California – and many other states – have been transformed into outposts for dysfunctional third-world countries.

The foreign nationals who have flocked to California have not brought newfound wealth or innovation to the United States. They have not enriched the United States in any observable way. In fields like technology, media, and science, you will not find a single significant breakthrough generated by any of these immigrants.

Their societies do not add value, nor are they “American” in any relevant sense. Instead, for years now they have been waiting for the moment to secede. They have been looking forward to the day when they can openly declare their contempt for us and this country, and then try to burn it down.

Over the weekend, that moment arrived. With the full support of Los Angeles' political leaders, rioters attacked federal law enforcement officers, laid siege to federal government buildings, vandalized stores, and set vehicles on fire. And while they did so, these rioters left no room for interpretation of their motivations. Here's a Reuters photograph that sums up the situation about as well as a photograph can:

There is thick smoke from an overturned car that these people set on fire. The police keep their distance. And in the foreground, a masked troublemaker on a motorcycle waves the Mexican flag. There are many more photographs like this.

Many have expressed confusion on social media when they see such images. They wonder: If these people love Mexico so much that they wave the Mexican flag while besieging a foreign country, why don't they just go back to Mexico? Why do they vehemently oppose any attempt by the Trump administration to return them to the homeland they are supposedly so proud of?

On one level, the answer seems obvious: These people don't want to go back to Mexico because they've ruined it. That's all they're capable of doing: ruin things. Granted, we keep hearing about all the wonderful benefits that hard-working Mexicans bring to our country. And yet Mexico, with all its Mexicans, is a dysfunctional hell that Mexicans desperately want to escape. Something's not quite right there.

And if you watch some of the footage from these protests, you can clearly see that these people are mindlessly destroying everything they can get their hands on. They have even set Waymo self-driving vehicles on fire, for no apparent reason at all. Journalist Cam Higby with “Today Is America” filmed this video:

When you see all these foreigners, some of them quite overweight, destroying property at random, you might conclude that they are simply mindless agents of destruction. They travel from country to country, begging for alms, and destroying everything they touch.

And that’s true, to a certain extent. At the same time, these troublemakers are clearly acting as foot soldiers for much more powerful forces. They’re not looting small businesses and setting fire to Waymo self-driving cars because they’re protesting immigration enforcement.

No one believes that. They’re committing these crimes as part of a larger agenda. And it’s not hard to see what that agenda is. Their leaders—in this country and in Mexico—are telling them to destabilize and ultimately destroy the United States. And the foot soldiers are obeying those orders.

It’s the same reason left-wing militants, including Antifa, are participating in these riots. In many ways, what we’re seeing in Los Angeles amounts to state-sponsored terrorism. Put aside what the Democrats are saying—we’ll get back to that in a moment.

We can’t ignore the fact that Mexico’s president, Claudia Sheinbaum, recently called on Mexicans to take to the streets in the United States. Sheinbaum reportedly threatened, “If necessary, we will mobilize. We will not tax remittances from our compatriots.”

Yes, just a few days ago, the president of Mexico said, “We will mobilize” to punish the United States. She was responding to a bill in Congress that would tax all money sent to Mexico at 3%. It’s an important provision because it discourages Mexicans from coming to this country to secure jobs, while also channeling money out of our economy.

But the Mexican president is not happy with that. That’s why she called for direct action in a foreign country, which sounds a lot like an act of war. And right on cue, according to her instructions, foreign nationals, along with Antifa, are “mobilizing” in Los Angeles. According to the police chief, in many cases they are using commercial fireworks to attack police officers – which can easily cause serious injury or death. In addition to setting Waymos (self-driving cars) on fire and attacking police officers, the rioters have destroyed several police cars, set fire to small businesses, and blocked the highway (stuck hundreds of people on the roads in the process) . Authorities say one person was arrested for throwing a Molotov cocktail at police officers, while another was arrested after hitting a police officer with a motorcycle.

There are tons of videos on X, among others, that show the violent acts. Other footage shows rioters burning and spitting on American flags. They start fires in the middle of the street at City Hall and smash the windows of the LAPD headquarters, without any police officers even trying to stop them.

To be perfectly clear on this: These protesters are apparently protesting because ICE , as part of its raids in Los Angeles, removed criminals who have no right to be in this country. And in many cases, they are clearly terrible people who belong in prison for the rest of their lives.

For example, Fox reports that “DHS confirms that a Vietnamese illegal immigrant ICE arrested in an LA operation yesterday is a convicted murderer and gang member involved in the 1994 shooting of attendees at a San Marino high school graduation party, killing two teenagers and injuring seven others.” They also arrested several sex offenders, drug traffickers, and so on.

In other words, as always, the left commits acts of terrorism because other terrorists are being taken off the streets. In any case, that’s why they riot. And the left got away with doing this back in 2020 during the riots back then. They managed to take over the highways and set fire to federal buildings across the country, on behalf of professional degenerates like George Floyd and Jacob Blake. And that’s exactly why it’s happening again. They don’t believe there will be any consequences for rioting because they’ve never experienced any consequences before.

The only solution, of course, is to treat them like the terrorists they are. Use overwhelming force to put down the riots. Indict and convict the rioters – and send them to prison for years. Destroy their lives. Show no mercy. Make them an example to deter. That’s how you maintain a just and orderly society. The other option is anarchy. And it’s only a matter of time before many people die as a result. After all, right now these terrorists are allowed to commit attempted murder in broad daylight.

Perhaps you are beginning to see the problem. All these “Democrat” politicians in California, many with foreign (Spanish-sounding) last names , were born in this country. They were raised by foreigners, as first-generation Americans. They are therefore impossible to legally deport at this time. But they clearly share no American values ​​whatsoever.

They do not respect the rule of law. They despise this country and openly encourage troublemakers to destroy it. They are not loyal to this country. Instead, their loyalty lies with the country from which their parents and grandparents fled. This is the natural end result of “amnesty” and birthright* citizenship. The goal of the Democratic Party, going back decades, has been to flood the country with such people. They will inevitably have children who cannot be deported. And in the meantime, all these illegal immigrants will contribute to the Democrats' numbers in the census, which is why California has so many seats in Congress.

It is no coincidence that Democrats, 40 years after Reagan's amnesty, continue to demand the same thing: They want citizenship for as many of these immigrants as possible.

The promise has always been the same: Amnesty, they tell us, will lead to stability and assimilation. But the opposite has been true. Amnesty has only codified and legitimized the invasion, while creating a permanent class of people who hate us and the United States, and are encouraged to act on that hatred.

It is on full display right now in Los Angeles. It is also visible in places like Houston and New York, which have seen similar demonstrations in recent days. It is also visible in Minnesota, where there has just been another shooting involving Somalis.

The path forward is clear: Any illegal alien involved in an insurrection should be immediately sent to Guantanamo Bay. Any illegal alien not involved in an insurrection should be immediately sent to whatever country they come from. All illegal aliens must be rounded up and removed, one way or another.

We know the FBI is capable of finding these people, because they tracked down every grandmother who dared to go near the Capitol building on January 6, 2021. Now the FBI must use those resources to get these foreign criminals out of this country. That’s what most Americans wanted back in 1984, even though they didn’t get it.

And that’s what most Americans want today, and that’s why Donald Trump won the last presidential election. If the United States is to remain an independent country—if it is to defeat this open insurrection—the Trump administration has no choice but to give us exactly what we voted for.
