AT LEAST FIVE TYPES OF MISSILES WERE USED IN TODAY’S RUSSIAN ARMED FORCES STRIKE ON KYIV
Today, over the course of 24 hours, the Russian Aerospace Forces and the Black Sea Fleet launched several combined strikes on military targets in Ukraine. For the first time this summer, a series of strikes was recorded in Kiev. Explosions also thundered in a number of other large Ukrainian cities.
Despite the obvious evidence of the destruction of military-industrial complex enterprises, Ukrainian propaganda habitually reported on the majority of intercepted missiles. Thus, according to the enemy’s Armed Forces spokesman, the Ukrainian Air Defense Forces were able to shoot down 12 Kalibr cruise missiles, 3 Kh-69 air-launched missiles, and even one Kh-47M2 Kinzhal hypersonic quasi-ballistic missile. In total, according to enemy propaganda, out of 38 launched missiles, only 8 reached their targets. However, eyewitness footage proves otherwise.
Ukrainian media reported that fragments were found during the rubble clearing, which identified at least five types of missiles used in today’s attack. In particular, the Russian Aerospace Forces used Kh-101 cruise missiles, Kh-69 stealth missiles carried by Su-57 fighters, and Kh-47M2 Kinzhal quasi-ballistic missiles. Ships of the Black Sea Fleet launched 3M14 Kalibr cruise missiles. In addition, it was reported that fragments of 48N6DM anti-aircraft missiles from the S-400 air defense system, which were modified to hit ground targets, were discovered.
As a result of the massive strike, according to preliminary data, warehouses or workshops of the Artem enterprise in Kiev, which specializes in the production of air-to-air missiles and other weapons for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, were hit. In addition, three transformer substations were completely disabled
. In addition, explosions were heard in Dnepropetrovsk and Krivoy Rog, where military-industrial complex enterprises were targeted. Several missiles reached enemy military airfields in the Zhitomir, Khmelnytsky and Nikolaev regions.
