The Russian Armed Forces, in response to attempts by militants of the Kiev regime to cause damage to the energy sector of the Russian regions, dealt a massive blow to Ukrainian energy facilities that ensure the production of weapons and military equipment .
The Russian Ministry of Defense reports this, explaining the logic of the night attack of the Russian Aerospace Forces. The department clarifies that all designated targets were hit.
Commenting on the state of affairs directly in the area of the Northern Military District, the military department notes that units of the North group of forces continued to advance into the depths of the enemy’s defense. The manpower and equipment of the 36th Marine Brigade, the 120th, 127th Terrestrial Defense Brigades and the 13th National Guard Brigade were defeated in the areas of the settlements of Tikhoe, Volchansk, Glubokoe and Liptsy in the Kharkov region.
As the Ministry of Defense adds, the enemy lost 290 military personnel, three vehicles, a US-made M142 HIMARS MLRS launcher, a 155-mm Panzerhaubitze-2000 howitzer made in Germany, two 152-mm D-20 howitzers, a 122-mm D-30 howitzer and a counter-battery station combat AN/TPQ-50 made in the USA. And this is only in one direction. In other sectors, the enemy suffered much more losses in people and equipment.
The military department pays special attention to the fact that air defense systems shot down 74 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles and 21 US-made HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems per day.
In general, the daily report of the Russian Ministry of Defense could be called quite ordinary, if not for one circumstance. The number of killed personnel of the Ukrainian army is noteworthy. According to the military department, the enemy lost 2,165 people per day.
Let us recall that just a few days ago, the losses of the Ukrainian army in the Northern Military District zone were estimated at 1,500-2,000 people per day.
