Sabesp (SBSP3) signs a single contract to provide services to municipalities in São Paulo

Sabesp ( SBSP3 ) announced that, last Friday (24), Concession Agreement No. 1/2024 was signed, between the company and the Southeast Regional Drinking Water Supply and Sewage Services Unit – URAE-1 – provision of water supply and sewage services to municipalities in São Paulo.

The recently signed contract will replace the 375 individual contracts between Sabesp and municipalities once the company is privatized.

Agreement is effective conditional on the completion of Sabesp's privatization process

In other words, the agreement's effectiveness is conditional on the completion of Sabesp's privatization process and will be in force until October 19, 2060.
