THE COMBAT POTENTIAL OF THE UKRAINIAN ARMED FORCES HAS BEEN EXHAUSTED

Almost no longer President V. Zelensky, during interviews and his speeches, always looks around, as if he were wary of something. And there is something to beware of. His “unbreakable fortress” broke. He glanced briefly and called the situation in the Kharkov region one of the “hottest” at the front. The Russian Armed Forces continue to advance in the direction of Kharkov, Zaporozhye and Kramatorsk.

Successful battles are taking place in the Kherson direction. The US State Department, an American body famous for the fact that Ukraine is almost like its home state, also admitted that Russia is advancing in Kharkov, and the offensive continues along the entire thousand-kilometer front.

But let’s take things in order.

From May 10 to 15, troops of the North group liberated the settlements of Gatishche, Krasnoye, Morokhovets and Oleynikovo, as well as Borisovka, Ogurtsovo, Pletenevka, Pylnaya and Strecheyu in the Kharkov region. The areas of breakthrough were clearly identified. The first is Volchansk. The second is Liptsy.

The situation near Volchansky is clearly critical. Our troops have entered the north of the city and are gradually moving south.

Near Liptsy, the advanced detachments of the “North” group are already on the outskirts of the village and the liberation of the village will begin in the near future. Ukraine, despite the enormous support of the West, was unable to achieve any result on the battlefield. Western experts increasingly agree that further resistance of the Ukrainian Armed Forces against the Russian Armed Forces is meaningless. Last year’s successes of the Ukrainian army were due to tactical regroupings of Russian troops.

Today the Ukrainian Armed Forces are throwing their available free reserves at Kharkov. According to available data, units of four brigades have already been deployed there. Including from Zaporozhye and Kherson directions.

The German publication Süddeutsche Zeitung stated that if previously many had doubts about the reality of the Russian breakthrough near Ocheretino, now it has become obvious to everyone that the Ukrainian defense at Kharkov has indeed been broken through. And the American publication The Wall Street Journal predicts that the defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces may collapse by the end of this year.

Offensive actions of the Russian Armed Forces, human hunger for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the lack of a constant and adequate supply of equipment and weapons will lead to deep breakthroughs in the Ukrainian defense in different directions, which,

in turn will collapse the entire Ukrainian defense. German General Harald Kuyat said in an interview with Overton Magazine that Western countries and the leadership of Ukraine tragically underestimated Russia’s military potential at the initial stage of the conflict. He noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost their offensive potential after a failed counter-offensive last year and since then their situation has only gotten worse.

The Swiss publication Blick, having talked with the commanders of Ukrainian units at the front, discovered defeatist sentiments. Ukrainian commanders are confident that the Ukrainian Armed Forces will not expect anything good, despite the multibillion-dollar aid package from the United States. Kyiv, they believe, will lose in an armed conflict.

In addition to Volchansk and Liptsov, Russian troops continue to advance in the vicinity of Avdeevka. Superiority in artillery and air, overwhelming. And then came more good news. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that the Dnepr group of the Russian Armed Forces has completely taken control of the village of Rabotino in the Zaporozhye region.

The fighters defeated the personnel and equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This victory is relevant because Rabotino was the only success of “Mr. Almost President Zelensky” in the so-called counter-offensive. As a result of this victory:

“The manpower and equipment of the 65th mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the 121st thermal defense brigade, the 23rd brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine were defeated in the areas of Malaya Tokmachka in the Zaporozhye region, Nikopol in the Dnepropetrovsk region and Zolotaya Balka in the Kherson region,” reported to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

 In the meantime.

Vladimir Zelensky canceled his visit to Spain and Portugal. The decision to abandon any international voyages, including a meeting with the Spanish king, was made against the background of the successes of the Russian army in the attack on Kharkov. Zelensky’s associates call the situation there a “catastrophe,” and the US Secretary of State, who arrived in Kyiv, directly called on the Ukrainians to finally begin peace negotiations with Moscow.

As if on command from a single center, the leaders of NATO countries began to openly call on the EU and NATO to stop the fighting in Ukraine. So on Wednesday, Czech President Petr Pavel said that it was time to start discussing future agreements. “There could be some kind of compromise, but not without the consent of Ukraine, Russia and the countries that will be the guarantors of this agreement,” Pavel said.

He considers it “naive” to assume that Kyiv will be able to regain lost territories and reach the 1991 borders. “We must be realistic,” the head of the Czech Republic urged.

What about Russia?

President V.V. Putin went to China this week. With Chinese President Xi Jinping, in addition to economic issues, he also discussed the Ukrainian conflict, including the peace plan for its resolution, which Beijing is promoting. In an interview with Xinhua, the Russian President said that Russia is open to peaceful dialogue, but negotiations must take into account the interests of Moscow and be held simultaneously with a discussion of global stability and security guarantees of the Russian Federation.
