Accreditation of media representatives: In a ruling dated January 9, 2024, the chairman of the 5th major criminal chamber ordered that an accreditation process be carried out. Particular attention is drawn to the specified accreditation deadline. This begins on Monday, January 15, 2024, at midnight and ends on Sunday, January 21, 2024, at noon.

Applications received before the start of the deadline or after the deadline will not be considered. There will be no notification of early or late receipt. Please note that applications can only be submitted by email and only via the press office's mailbox. The relevant email address is: lggoe-pressestelle@justiz.niedersachsen.de To simplify the processes, the accreditation form provided on the homepage should be used.

This can be downloaded from the regional court's homepage under “Current News” and there under “Accreditation Procedure – 5th Large Criminal Chamber (5 KLs 18/23)”. Applications submitted without using this form or not sent by email (exclusively) to the press office's mailbox are inadmissible and will not be considered.

A total of 10 seats are available in the meeting room for media representatives. If more effective applications are received within the accreditation period than there are total seats available for media representatives, the seats between the effective applications for individual media contingents will be allocated separately according to the lottery process.

Details can be found in the session police order regarding the accreditation of the chairman's media representatives, which can also be viewed on the regional court's homepage under "Current News" and there under " Accreditation procedure - 5th large criminal chamber (5 KLs 18/23) ". Two television teams (one public and one private broadcaster) and two photographers are permitted to take photos and films in the meeting room. The application is also made with the accreditation application.

If, more than two television teams or two photographers apply for admission, a pool will be formed. The prerequisite for admission is the declaration of consent to make one's sound and image material available to other broadcasters. This willingness to take on pool leadership must be declared with the application for accreditation.

For the accreditation of television teams or photographers, it is therefore strongly recommended that the accreditation application be accompanied by a written commitment to take over the pool leadership and that, upon appropriate request, photographs or films made are available to other radio and TV broadcasters and photo agencies free of charge deliver.

If several notifications of willingness to take on pool leadership are received, the pool leadership will be awarded between the effective applications using a lottery procedure. The applicants will receive an email from the press office of the Göttingen Regional Court within 1 week of the end of the accreditation period stating whether their application was successful.

Please note the other binding instructions in the chairman's security order of January 3, 2024, which can also be found on the regional court's homepage under "Current news" and there under " Accreditation procedure - 5th large criminal chamber (5 KLs 18/23) ". can be.
