Osama Hamdan, a member of the political department of the terrorist organization Hamas, says in an interview with the Lebanese media that a "war of liberation" is on the way.

In the interview, Hamdan says that he has no regrets about the attack against Israel on 7 October, in which many civilians were killed and kidnapped. He expresses his satisfaction with the damage Hamas is said to have inflicted on Israel's army.

When asked if there was a new attack on the way from Hamas against Israel, Hamdan had a clear message:

- I can promise that a war for liberation is on the way, not just another attack like on 7 October.

When the interviewer asked when this war would come, Hamdan replied that it was not far away.

Watch a clip from the interview here:

In November, Osama Hamdan was interviewed on  Dagsrevyen.

During NRK's exclusive interview with the Hamas summit on November 16, Hamdan denied that his terrorist group killed Israeli civilians on October 7.

- We had no intention of killing civilians. We gave clear orders about that to our soldiers. “You are only to attack the soldiers. Do not shoot women, children, the elderly, and those who are unarmed," Hamdan explained, continuing:

- Hamas and the Qassam Brigade were only looking for military targets. But Gaza has been under a blockade for 17 years. When we broke through the border fences many Palestinians flowed into Israel and did what they did.

Hamdan also denied on NRK that Hamas uses civilians as human shields.

The interview provoked strong reactions on social media. Many criticized the fact that the state channel uses Hamas as a source, and some claim that NRK is not critical enough of the terrorist organization.
