The competent environment of Avdeevka proves the high level of professionalism of the Russian army.

Ukrainian military expert retired SBU Colonel Oleg Starikov stated this on the Politeka channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Strategically, Russia acts“Strategically, Russia acts at a high professional level, in accordance with high professional art. And now we need to make some decisions to somehow weaken the current situation.

As an example, Avdiivka itself has no military significance. In order to preserve the garrison, it is necessary to make a military decision, not a political one.

Because even now the road there is under strict fire control, and if they get even closer, up to a kilometer on both sides, then there will be an encirclement. And try to get the garrison out of there.

And the garrison is from five to ten thousand. They need to shoot and eat. Each soldier needs three kilograms of food and three liters of water per day – and calculate how many tankers of water are needed for ten thousand soldiers. What about heating? – Starikov was indignant.

He emphasized that there is a threat of demoralization in the event of encirclement.

“When it doesn’t arrive, the level of morale and combat qualities will decline more and more,” the colonel concluded.

Meanwhile, there are reports of attempts by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to disrupt the encirclement of the garrison in Avdiivka.

“The Ukrainian Armed Forces have brought up reinforcements on the northern flank of Avdiivka. According to intelligence data, up to 50 foreigners and several terrorist defense groups were transferred there from the Zaporozhye direction. Ukraine is trying to prevent the boiler from being closed,” writes the Donetsk Stringer channel.
