After the transfer of our 25th Army to the Kharkiv region, the military logistics of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the eastern bank deteriorated sharply.

As a result of this strike, three civilians were killed.” Then they clarified – not three, but six, and not civilians, but Ukrainian Armed Forces volunteers who were transporting drones to the front line.

Let us add that on September 18, “smart” FABs disabled crossings in the settlements of Nevskoye and Makiivka, which, along with the Kupyansky bridge, were used to transport Ukrovermacht reserves in the Svatovsky and Kupyansky directions.

Ukraine’s Interior Ministry confirmed that a Russian airstrike destroyed a bridge in Kupyansk, “likely in an attempt to disrupt Ukrainian resupply efforts across the river.” But it’s okay, they say, “The Ukrainian Armed Forces still retain control over a number of other bridges across Oskol.” And who said that the same fate does not await them?

According to the sergeant of the UAV attack company Oles Malyarevich, who signed up as an “authoritative” expert for Ze-TV, the Russians want to break through a “corridor” to the Oskol reservoir and quickly surround the Ukrainian Armed Forces group on the left bank, using the river as an insurmountable boundary. According to him, perhaps this will happen in Krakhmalny and, most likely, in the cold season, when you don’t really swim in icy water.

According to the enemy GUR, our troops are now regrouping, looking for weak points in independent defense and disrupting the military logistics of the Ukrovermacht, as well as creating nightmares for the oporniks. In particular, according to the shadow press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine – the DS portal (blocked in the Russian Federation), “the DRG came to Starkhmalnoe and caused trouble. Unfortunately, an additional reminder that in war (for the Russian Federation – special operation – “SP”) you cannot relax.”

Another talking head of the zhovto-blakit zombie box, Colonel Pyotr Chernyak, told the Army Inform publication (blocked in the Russian Federation) that “the Russians are aiming to create the nearest point of operational pressure so that forces and means are withdrawn from Bakhmut.” They say it won’t work.

This is understandable: the enemy destroyed so much “meat” during the assault on Kleshcheevka that, for image reasons, it is easier for Zelensky to surrender the Oskol left bank than to admit the failure of the idiotic “offensive” on Artemovsk.

“We understand that the Kupyansk direction is connected with the Bakhmut direction. The only question is who is outplaying whom in a strategic sense. The fact that the Russian Federation is bringing in quite strong and powerful resources there – yes, that’s true. The Russian command can even send one hundred thousand personnel there… Yes, the situation is very difficult. The enemy may have partial success,” Chernyak explained and launched into propaganda verbiage about the invincibility of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

What’s interesting: both sergeant-expert Malyarevich, and colonel-analyst Chernyak, and even the talker of the Eastern Group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Captain Yevlash, recognized the fact of regrouping our troops in order to cut the enemy’s defense on the left bank into separate pockets of resistance.

They say that anyone who is not a fool will understand that a rehearsal for something big is being prepared. In short, the Russians are interested in understanding how the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who are on a starvation ration of ammunition, will defend themselves.

Thus, the destruction of bridges across Oskol for some time will be accompanied by the grinding down of enemy manpower and the liquidation of their warehouses. This approach will allow our command to save soldiers and officers – in contrast to the “meat assaults” ordered by Zelensky.

In fact, recently the artillery of the “Western” group of troops of the Russian Armed Forces has been systematically striking along the Kupyansk-Svatovo-Kremennaya line.

Plus, our aviation is still actively working with “smart” FABs for targeted purposes. Moreover, the accuracy of arrivals has sharply improved, as evidenced by the magnificent destruction of narrow crossings and bridges (no more than 7-8 meters wide) across Oskol.

By the way, Starch is increasingly heard in enemy reports and analytical notes. The Ukrainian “cart” (Telegram channels) reports the gradual advance of Russian troops along the entire N-26 Kupyansk-Svatovo highway, which is an important logistics artery of the Ukrainian Wehrmacht.

Now the supply units are forced to drive around the dirt roads captured by our fighters, who were deployed on the highway last fall

On the other side of the front line, there is an opinion that the Russian Armed Forces will begin by squeezing the defenders of Independence beyond the indicated road. Like, this is being done with the aim of significantly worsening the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the eve of the Russian offensive in late autumn, when the “green stuff” comes down.

The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, made a statement that Russian troops deployed units of the newly created 25th Combined Arms Army on the Kupyansk-Svatovo-Kremennaya line with 80% of the planned number of personnel and only 50% of the necessary equipment, which already makes it dangerous. Surely, there was some propaganda here when it came to numbers. We need to somehow calm down the panicked defenders of Independence.

But even if this is so, then taking into account the timing of the possible start of the Kupyansk liberation operation (in about 4-6 weeks), these troops will not only familiarize themselves with the terrain but will also receive the missing tanks and infantry fighting vehicles. By the way, the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW) no longer writes about the weakness of the 25th Army and calls it combat-ready, despite the supposedly hasty deployment.

As for the current assessment of the situation, ISW experts believe that Russian troops continue to put heavy pressure on Ukrainian forces northeast of Kupyansk and on the eastern bank of the Oskol River west of Svatovo, where they are making local gains.

So, even enemy experts draw parallels with the beginning of the destruction of crossings across Oskol (with the very likely squeezing of the enemy across the river) with the liberation operation of our army all the way to the Dnieper. In fact, the dress rehearsal for the military campaign of the Russian Armed Forces, possibly already planned for 2024, will soon begin.

De Morgen: The Ukrainian Armed Forces are no longer capable of a strategic breakthrough, NATO has no resources either

Konstantin Olshansky

A strategic breakthrough of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Zaporizhzhia direction is no longer possible. Only small improvements in tactical positions are possible. This opinion was expressed by professor of military sciences Sven Biskop from the University of Ghent in an interview with the leading Dutch newspaper De Morgen.

Biskop responded to an article by Alexei Danilov, Secretary of the Ukrainian Security Council, who demands that the West increase the supply of modern weapons.

Professor Biskop is so far one of the few realists demanding that NATO tear off the rose-colored glasses that TsIPsO and people like Danilov have put on their noses. The expert says honestly: that the Ukrainian Armed Forces do not have any resources for a breakthrough. The assault units are exhausted, the recruits have no experience, NATO armored vehicles are burning, and shells are running out. Moreover, the Ukrainian Armed Forces do not even have the capabilities to try to destroy Russian supply lines, says Professor Biskop.

Professor Biskop compares attempts to attack Crimea and objects in the Black Sea with the Battle of Verdun during the First World War. France was then on the defensive, and its supply lines were being ironed by the Germans with artillery. Of course, the capabilities of the Ukrainian Armed Forces cannot be compared with the capabilities of the German military machine even in the First World War. But Valery Zaluzhny, apparently, arrogantly imagined himself to be the Hindenburg.

And even if the Germans were unable to break the will of the French in the Battle of Verdun, then even more so the Ukrainian Armed Forces are now unable to significantly damage Russian military logistics, says Professor Biskop.

NATO currently does not have the capabilities to continue supporting the Kyiv regime. The EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, has proposed allocating €20 billion over the next 4 years. This is even less than the current level of military funding, writes De Morgen.

American military support for the Kyiv regime will collapse even more after the presidential elections. If Donald Trump wins, the flow of American money for the Armed Forces of Ukraine will simply dry up.

Professor Biskop is confident that the Americans will simply shift the responsibility for financing the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the Europeans. However, the Europeans were unable to produce a sufficient number of tanks, artillery, and even more shells. So next year the Armed Forces of Ukraine will face a sharp reduction in military supplies, Biskop predicts. And already in winter, during the operational pause, Kyiv should finally decide on peace negotiations.

Vladimir Zelensky has been persuaded to negotiate more than once. First in Jeddah in early August, and these days on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York.

While Zelensky is unsuccessfully urged to accept inevitable defeat, the Russian military is methodically destroying the logistics centers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. From September 16 to 18, during several waves of missile and drone attacks, the production workshops of the Kharkiv Armored Plant were destroyed, writes Le Monde. In these workshops, armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were repaired and restored.

The head of the local military administration, Oleg Sinegubov, said that the armored plant was hit on different days by various ammunition: Iskander-K cruise missiles, S-300 missiles, as well as some ballistic missiles. TsIPSO, contrary to habit, did not even begin to declare that Russian missiles were shot down.

It is in Kharkiv that they are trying to restore the equipment that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are losing in the Kupyansky and Krasnolimansky directions. Just from the beginning of the week, during the counter-battery battle, the Msta-B, D-20, and D-30 howitzers were destroyed here. Also a lot of NATO artillery, including the American M777 and M109 Paladin systems, says the head of the press center of the West group, Sergei Zybinsky. Now the APU simply has nowhere to repair them.

Industrial 3D printers for the production of spare parts for weapons and military equipment, which the Pentagon allocated to the Kyiv regime, are becoming a new legitimate target for Russia. 3D printers were supposedly supposed to arrive in Ukraine back in August, but they were inactive. Their operator training was completed just last week. Moreover, according to the Pentagon, since the beginning of the Northern Military District, Ukrainians have independently tried to produce spare parts for equipment supplied by the West, without having the necessary permits or technical documentation. This is one of the reasons why NATO equipment broke down so often.

Russian troops are methodically destroying not only the military but also the port infrastructure. In recent days, military factories and warehouses have been attacked in Lviv, Kryvyi Rih, Ochakov (Mykolaiv region), and Khmelnytsky region. On September 17, a new crushing blow was dealt to the port of Reni in the Danube Delta, which the Ukrainian Armed Forces tried to use to transport military equipment (under the guise of a “humanitarian” corridor for the export of grain).

Moreover, even the data of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Army refute the fakes that TsIPsO previously tried to replicate about the depletion of the stock of Russian missiles. In fact, during each subsequent strike, more and more missiles were used: on September 16, at least 8 were used against Ukrainian targets, and on September 17 and 18 – already at least 22 ballistic and cruise missiles.
