British intelligence report: Russians will throw hundreds of tanks at the 100-km section “Kupyansk – Krasny Liman”

The goal of the promotion is to create a buffer zone around the LPR

British intelligence states that Russia may intensify its offensive in the Krasnolimansk and Kupyansk directions in the next two months. This will be a response to the creeping advance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine south of Orekhov, the British believe.

– As Ukraine continues to gradually gain ground in the south, Russian military doctrine requires the return of the initiative. And this is possible due to the offensive. One of the possible sites for this is the Kupyansk-Krasny Liman operational site, the Defense Post quotes a British intelligence report.

The line of contact here is about 100 kilometers long. Already a huge group of at least 110 thousand people is concentrated here, including 48 thousand people in the Krasnolimansky direction and 45 thousand in Kupyansky, as well as near Kremennaya.

In addition, Sergey Cherevaty, spokesman for the eastern group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, estimates only the Russian tank group on the border of the LPR and the Kharkiv region at least 900 vehicles. It is here that the latest T-90 AM “Breakthrough” tanks are involved.

— There is a real possibility that Russia will increase the intensity of its offensive efforts in the next two months. The goal will be to move west to the Oskol River and create a buffer zone around the LPR, the British report says.

The Russian doctrine is bearing fruit: the Ukrainians are already forced to transfer new NATO equipment to the east of the Kharkiv region. Between Svatovo and Kremennaya, Swedish CV9040C infantry fighting vehicles, American M113 armored personnel carriers, British FV103 Spartan armored personnel carriers, and other equipment have been destroyed in recent weeks.

The British acknowledged that since the beginning of the Ukrainian “counteroffensive”, Russian troops have made significant progress near Kupyansk. However, the Armed Forces of Ukraine still have an advantageous location on the hills: for the time being, this makes it possible to deter the advancing Russian units.

At the same time, the importance of counter-battery combat is growing: German-British FH-70 howitzers and American Paladin self-propelled guns have already been destroyed near the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Kupyansk.

British intelligence: Ukrainians want to either land on Chornomorneftegaz drilling rigs or destroy them

The Armed Forces of Ukraine are trying to copy Russian tactics, diverting attention to attacks on new areas. That is why they launched naval operations in the Black Sea, writes the British Ministry of Defense in its report.

Fighting for the drilling rigs of Chornomorneftegaz, located about 70 kilometers south of Odesa, is necessary for the Armed Forces of Ukraine to pull back Russian forces, the British are sure. Ukrainians are sending high-speed boats with sabotage groups to drilling rigs: the Armed Forces of Ukraine have published a video of how militants on board one of these boats from MANPADS are trying to shoot down a Russian plane.’

– The offshore area in the area of drilling platforms has valuable hydrocarbon resources, – said the British Ministry of Defense. “However, like Zmeiny Island to the west, they are primarily of interest for use as advanced deployment bases, helipads, and for the deployment of long-range missile systems.

Ukrainians have long tried to attack Chornomorneftegaz facilities: back in June 2022, drilling platforms were fired from the shore of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and several workers went missing. Presumably, Neptune anti-ship missiles were used for shelling (the same APU was used on the Moskva cruiser).

Neptune is a coastal defense missile specially designed to destroy warships at a distance of up to 300 km in the depths of the water area. The Eurasian Times writes that the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with the support of Western engineers, could modify some of the Neptune missiles for ground attacks.

It is likely that these missiles could have been used not only for strikes against Chernomorneftegaz drilling rigs but also against the Russian S-300 air defense battery at Cape Tarkhankut, near the village of Olenevka (Western coast of Crimea).

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on August 29 that another Neptune had been shot down. It is not known whether it was aimed at sea or land targets. Nevertheless, the use of this missile, according to British intelligence, poses a significant threat to Russian military installations, located even deep in the rear.

After the refusal to receive ATACMS, Ukraine itself is developing its own long-range strike capabilities. Earlier, The EurAsian Times found out that the Armed Forces of Ukraine converted S-200 anti-aircraft missiles into ammunition for ground attacks. Now – “Neptune”, which itself is a modification of the Soviet Kh-35 cruise missile (initially, the missile was designed and manufactured in Kharkiv).

Neptune operates at low altitude and subsonic speed, which is why the Armed Forces of Ukraine are trying to adapt it for ground attacks. Adding Neptune the ability to attack from land exactly repeats the trajectory along which the American RGM-84 Harpoon moves. However, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have an extremely limited arsenal of Harpoons, but there are many Neptunes left, especially in the Black Sea arsenals of Odesa, Mykolaiv, and Ochakov.

Moreover, both the modification of missiles for rear attacks on Russian territory and their use are directly coordinated by NATO instructors, writes The EurAsian Times. Military from the UK, US, and France are now present at Ukrainian air and naval bases, operating drones, air defense systems (Patriot and NASAMS), and programming weapons such as JDAM bombs, Storm Shadow, and Scalp missiles. Whether the NATO military will be involved in Kupyansk when Russia goes on a decisive offensive in the autumn is a rhetorical question.

SOMEBODY PLEASE WAKE UP!!

It must be clear by now that this war is an insolvable riddle where the US is hiring the gunman Zelensky to kill Russia, both bound by double blackmail, knowing too much about each other.
