Deployment sites and storage facilities for NATO weapons obliterated.

The Russian military delivered an overnight strike by seaborne precision weapons on the deployment sites of Ukrainian troops and foreign mercenaries and Western armor storage facilities, a spokesman for the Russian Ministry of Defense, Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov, reported on July 6.

“Last night, the Russian Armed Forces delivered a massive strike by seaborne long-range precision weapons against the temporary deployment sites of the Ukrainian army personnel and foreign mercenaries and foreign-made armor storage facilities,” the spokesman said.

According to Ukrainian media reports, the targets were located in the western city of Lviv. Lt. Gen. Konashenkov said that all the targets were destroyed. The goal of the strike was achieved. Substantial damage was inflicted on the enemy’s strategic reserves, the general stressed.

The spokesman also noted in his statement that Kiev forces made new attempts to advance in the directions of Donetsk, Krasny Liman and Kupyansk.

In the Donetsk direction, the Russian Yug Group of Forces repelled nine attacks close to Pervomayskoye, Vodyanoye, Opytnoye, Krasnogorovka, Severnoye and Zolotaryovka. In addition, Ukrainian gatherings of manpower and equipment west of Kleshcheyevka were targeted by the group

Ukrainian losses in this direction amounted to 385 troops, one tank, three armored fighting vehicles, eight motor vehicles, two D-20 towed howitzers and two Polish-made Krab self-propelled howitzers.

Meanwhile in the Krasny Liman direction, the Russian Tsentr Group of Forces repelled four Ukrainian attacks near Yampolovka, Torskoye and Kovalyovka.

In addition, gatherings of manpower and equipment were targeted near Yampolovka, Torskoye, Novoyegorovka and Chervonaya Dibrova. The actions of two Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups were also suppressed close to Nevskoye and Belogorovka.

According to Lt. Gen. Konashenkov, Ukrainian losses in this direction included over 90 troops, three armored fighting vehicles and four pickup trucks.

In the South Donetsk and Zaporozhye directions, the Russian Vostok Group of Forces targeted Ukrainian gatherings of manpower and equipment close to Rovnopol, Makarovka, Novodonetskoye and Urozhaynoye. Moreover, the activities of two Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups were suppressed near Urozhaynoye and Dorozhnyanka.

Up to 165 Ukrainian troops, three armored fighting vehicles, including one American-made Stryker armored personnel carrier, three motor vehicles, one Grad multiple rocket launcher, one French-made Caesar self-propelled howitzer, and one Gvozdika self-propelled howitzer were neutralized in this direction, Lt. Gen. Konashenkov said.

In the Kupyansk direction, the Russian Zapad Group of Forces repelled an attack by Kiev forces close to Novosyolovskoye. In addition, Ukrainian positions near Novomlynsk, Petropavlovsk, Timkovka, Berestovoye and Stelmakhovka were targeted.

One Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group was also neutralized near Novosyolovskoye. Lt. Gen. Konashenkov said that Ukrainian losses in this direction amounted to 40 troops, 2 armored fighting vehicles, two pickup trucks, as well as one American-made M777 howitzer.

The situation in other directions, according to the statement of the Russian MoD:

In Kherson direction, the enemy losses were up to 130 Ukrainian servicemen, 8 motor vehicles, as well as 1 Gvozdika self-propelled howitzer.

Operational-Tactical and Army aviation, Missile Troops and Artillery of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have neutralized 86 artillery units at their firing positions, manpower and military hardware in 119 areas.

3 control points of the 118th Territorial Defence Brigade, the 10th Mountain Assault Brigade of the AFU and the 4th Brigade of the National Guard have been hit close to Stupochki, Vyemka and Zvanovka (Donetsk People’s Republic).

Air defense units have shot down 2 Su-25 aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force near Novoandreevka and Georgievka (Donetsk People’s Republic). 4 Storm Shadow cruise missiles have been intercepted, as well as 4 HIMARS multiple-launch rocket system projectiles. 15 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles have been destroyed near Kremennaya, Privolye (Lugansk People’s Republic), Aleksandrovka, Vesyoloye, Rovnopol, Orlinskoye, Volodino (Donetsk People’s Republic), Dneprorudnoye, Chistopolye (Zaporozhye region) and Konstantinovka (Kherson region).

In total, 451 airplanes, 241 helicopters, 4,908 unmanned aerial vehicles, 426 air defense missile systems, 10,547 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,135 fighting vehicles equipped with MLRS, 5,356 field artillery cannons and mortars, as well as 11,468 special military motor vehicles have been destroyed during the special military operation.

The Russian MoD also released videos showing a recent strike by a Ka-52 attack helicopter against a Ukrainian armored vehicle as well as the downing of a Ukrainian drone with an electronic warfare system.

Ukraine launched its so-called spring counteroffensive on June 4. Since then, its forces have sustained heavy losses and failed to make any meaningful gains in any direction. Currently, the forces are bogged down kilometers away from the Russian military’s first line of defense. Despite this, Kiev will likely order more large-scale attacks before the upcoming NATO summit.
