According to the Acting Head of the DPR, the Armed Forces of Ukraine do not spare their own units in Artemovsk

DONETSK, April 10. /TASS/. Acting head of the DPR Denis Pushilin announced his trip to Artemovsk (Ukrainian name - Bakhmut).

"Here it is our Artemovsk, being liberated by Wagners (PMC Wagner - TASS note). <...> This is a small announcement, a more detailed video will be on the channel a bit later. Our units continue to liberate Russian lands," he said in a video posted on Monday on the Telegram channel.

Pushilin said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine do not spare their own units in Artemovsk. "The enemy does not spare either the city or his own people. They are driven into a meat grinder," he said.

On the night of April 3, the founder of Wagner PMC Yevgeny Prigozhin announced the raising of the Russian flag over the administration of Artemovsk and made a statement that the city was legally under the control of Russian forces. On April 7, he reported on fierce battles with the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of ​​the Artemivsk railway station.

Artemovsk is located in the Kyiv-controlled part of the DPR and was an important transport hub for supplying the Ukrainian group of troops in the Donbas. Fierce battles are going on for the city. On March 22, Gagin said that the city was almost completely blocked by the forces of the Russian Federation, and all access roads to it were controlled by Russian artillery. Earlier, he informed that Russian forces control about 70% of the territory of Artemovsk. Nevertheless, Kyiv has repeatedly stated that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will defend the city as long as possible, and do not plan to leave it.
