The work of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant (ZNPP) on Sunday night was completely stopped against the backdrop of incessant shelling from the Ukrainian side. On Sunday, the department reported a number of strikes on positions and facilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) near Kharkiv, as a result of which the Ukrainian side lost over 450 people and more than 50 pieces of equipment. In addition, according to the Ministry of Defense, the losses of Ukrainian forces from airstrikes near Mykolaiv and in the Kherson region exceeded 150 people and 20 pieces of equipment.
In total, from September 6 to September 10, only in the Mykolaiv-Kryvyi Rih and Kharkiv directions, the Armed Forces of Ukraine lost over 4 thousand people killed and more than 8 thousand wounded.
According to the deputy head of the military-civilian administration (CAA) of the Kherson region Kirill Stremousov, Kherson is safe, and the situation in the region is stable. At the same time, Vitaly Ganchev, head of the Kharkiv VGA, called on all residents of the region to evacuate. In the border areas of the Belgorod region, mobile food and heating stations were deployed for refugees from Ukraine.
The situation in Donbass
The forces of the People's Militia of the DPR are advancing in a number of directions, head of the republic Denis Pushilin told TASS. IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi announced the start of consultations on the creation of a security zone around the Zaporizhzhia NPP, which, according to him, should be established as soon as possible.
Conversation between Putin and Macron
Macron, who called Putin for the first time since mid-August, stressed the responsibility of all international partners, including Russia, to ensure that the states most in need have access to food. The Russian leader, according to the Kremlin press service, said that grain from the Black Sea ports must be sent primarily to developing countries. He also stressed that the European Commission should not interfere with Russian exports of products and fertilizers to the markets of Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America.
In addition, Putin called on Macron to help stop the shelling of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant from Kyiv. Impossibility of negotiations
