Russian servicemen prevented a terrorist attack by Ukrainian security forces by shooting down a kamikaze drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. The purpose of the drone was the storage of spent nuclear fuel, according to the Telegram channel of the military-civilian administration (MCA) of Energodar on Sunday. "The drone crashed on the roof of a special building of the nuclear power plant. After hitting the roof, the wearable charge detonated, but sources in the CAA report that there are no infrastructural damages and no human casualties," the administration clarified.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine fired five lighting mines at the coastal territory of the Zaporizhzhya NPP to start a fire, the Energodar CAA reported.
