  • Under shelling was the hotel "Central", where journalists, including foreign ones, stay. There were about 50 people in the building. Glass was broken in it, and all cars parked nearby were damaged.
  • The Pushilin administration building on Pushkin Boulevard was subjected to direct shelling from the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The shells hit the front of the building. As a result, a fire started, and broken bricks, cladding, and metal structures were scattered around the district, the Donetsk News Agency specified. According to a TASS correspondent, another building of the administration of the head of the DPR was also damaged on Artem Street, the area around which was cordoned off.
  • In the first two series of attacks on the Voroshilov region, NATO artillery systems of 155 mm caliber were used. In total, the Armed Forces of Ukraine fired 12 shells.
  • The third attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was carried out with the use of American MLRS HIMARS, the DPR representative office at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the ceasefire regime reported. Pushilin's administration was hit by HIMARS.

Dead and injured

  • Three people were killed, and six people were injured, said Mayor Alexei Kulemzin.
  • One of the victims is in critical condition. Among the wounded was an employee of the pre-trial detention center in Donetsk.
  • According to preliminary data, the journalists were not injured as a result of the shelling of the Central Hotel, they went down to the basement.

  • Pushilin accused the West, which supplies Ukraine with weapons, of involvement in the targeted destruction of residential areas in Donetsk. According to him, the Ukrainian regime uses terrorist methods and must be punished.
  • The shelling of the center of Donetsk confirms the need for an international tribunal for war criminals, said Elena Shishkina, chairman of the committee on criminal and administrative legislation of the People's Council of the DPR.
