MOSCOW, MAY 20, 10:59 AM - TASS

Putin's statements at the meeting of the Security Council. The number of cyberattacks on Russian resources has recently increased significantly, the President of Russia noted.

The number of cyberattacks on Russian resources has recently increased many times - a real war in the information space has essentially been unleashed against the country. This was stated on Friday by Russian President Vladimir Putin, opening a meeting of the Security Council of the Russian Federation.

Although this aggression, as well as the “sanctions attack” against Russia in general, failed, the head of state was instructed to think over the creation of a state information defense system and create domestic analogs of foreign technologies and equipment as soon as possible.

TASS has collected key statements from the president.

Failed Aggression

"The number of cyberattacks on the Russian information infrastructure has been constantly growing in recent years <...>, and with the start of a special military operation in the Donbas, in Ukraine, the challenges in this area have become even more acute and serious, more ambitious. In fact, real aggression has been unleashed against Russia, a war in the information space".

“First of all, the number of cyberattacks, including complex ones, has increased many times over <...> Attacks are launched from different states, and at the same time, they are clearly coordinated. In essence, these are the actions of state structures, and we know that some countries are already quite officially entering cyber troops."

The attacks were directed against the resources of critical information infrastructure objects, primarily mass media, financial institutions, socially significant portals, and networks, as well as official websites of government bodies, "attempts of illegal penetration into the corporate networks of leading Russian companies are also recorded much more often."

"Already today we can say: the cyber aggression against us, as well as the sanctions attack on Russia in general, failed. On the whole, we were ready for this attack <...>."

Strengthening the defense

Russian specialists were seriously engaged in the protection of the information infrastructure, and they managed to do a lot, but these issues must be kept under constant control: "The nature of challenges, threats is dynamic, rapidly changing. The information sphere itself is undergoing rapid development."

Now, first of all, it is necessary "constantly, as they say, in real-time" to improve the mechanisms for ensuring the information security of critical facilities - a third of them still do not have specialized structural units.

Another task is to increase the protection of information systems and communication networks in state bodies since last year's inspections showed the vulnerability of most existing resources to massive attacks.

"It is necessary to strengthen the defense of the domestic digital space - there should be no weak points here <...> In this regard, I consider it appropriate to consider the issue of creating a state information protection system."

Independence from foreign technologies

Another challenge for Russia is the restriction of access to foreign information technologies, programs, and products, and the termination of technical support for equipment by a number of Western suppliers.

"The processes of digitalization, which are now actively underway in the public administration system and the Russian economy, <...> should be protected as much as possible today from any potential negative impact from outside. And the obvious way to achieve this goal is to switch to domestic equipment, technologies, programs, and products ".

The government should create a modern Russian electronic component base as quickly as possible: "We have been talking about this for a long time, we are working in the most active way, I hope that the result will be in the near future."

In addition, it is necessary to develop and implement our own technological equipment, including for the production of software and hardware systems: “Here, it is necessary to widely use the tools and resources of the Digital Economy national program.

The bottom line is for the people to regain their original, moral principles, which have intentionally been watered out over the past generations by our press, TV, and other media owned by the Illuminati/Bilderberger Group, corrupting our morals by making misbehavior acceptable to our society. Only in this way shall we conquer this oncoming wave of evil.
