A ceasefire has been agreed to evacuate injured Ukrainian soldiers from the Azovstal steel plant in Mariupol, Ukraine, according to Russia.

- An agreement has been reached with representatives of the Ukrainian military who are detained at Azovstal in Mariupol to evacuate the injured, the Russian Ministry of Defense states.

They add that a "silence regime" has been introduced as long as the evacuation is ongoing.

The agreement has not yet been confirmed by Ukraine.

Russia and Ukraine have in recent days negotiated an agreement to ensure free movement for the Ukrainian soldiers who are locked inside the steelworks. The negotiations have been described as "extremely difficult" by Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk.

She stated last week that there were more than 1,000 soldiers left in the steelworks and that hundreds of these were wounded.

The heavily bombed steelworks has been the last bulwark for the remaining Ukrainian forces in the city, which has been besieged shortly after the Russian invasion began.

Several civilians have also been in the steelworks, but there have previously been several operations to evacuate them.

Zelensky confirmed the withdrawal of part of the military from Azovstal. Among them there are seriously wounded, said the President of Ukraine

Kyiv, May 17. /TASS/.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on Tuesday in a video message confirmed the start of the withdrawal of the Ukrainian military from the territory of the Azovstal metallurgical plant in Mariupol.

"<...> We have hope that we will be able to save the lives of our guys. There are seriously wounded among them, they need help," Zelensky said. The President of Ukraine also said that Kyiv expects to subsequently return them to the territory controlled by the Ukrainian authorities. "To bring the guys home, the work continues, and this work requires delicacy. And time," he added.

Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that on Monday an agreement was reached with representatives of Ukrainian military personnel blocked on the territory of Azovstal on the removal of wounded Ukrainian military personnel from the plant. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation also noted that a silent regime has been introduced in the area of the enterprise and a humanitarian corridor has been opened, through which wounded Ukrainian servicemen are delivered to a medical facility in Novoazovsk of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) to provide them with all the necessary assistance.

The Ukrainian side reported that on May 16, 53 seriously wounded Ukrainian soldiers were evacuated from Azovstal to the territory controlled by the DPR, to Novoazovsk, and 211 Ukrainian soldiers were delivered to Yelenovka (DPR) through the humanitarian corridor.

On April 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin, at a meeting with Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, called the assault on Azovstal inappropriate and ordered it to be canceled, instructing the military to block this industrial zone so "so that a fly does not fly." On May 4, Shoigu said at a conference call that the remnants of the Ukrainian military group were securely blocked along the entire perimeter of Azovstal, and the Russian Armed Forces continue to try to convince them to lay down their arms.

On May 4, the press secretary of the head of the Russian state, Dmitry Peskov, said that Russian troops were not storming the territory of the plant, but were suppressing attempts by militants blocked there to reach firing points.

The bottom line is for the people to regain their original, moral principles, which have intentionally been watered out over the past generations by our press, TV, and other media owned by the Illuminati/Bilderberger Group, corrupting our morals by making misbehavior acceptable to our society. Only in this way shall we conquer this oncoming wave of evil.
