Ukraine has received fighter jets and spare parts to strengthen the air force, according to the US Department of Defense.

However, the Pentagon refuses to disclose the number, type or country of origin of the fighter jets and aircraft parts. Spokesman John Kirby said during a press briefing on Tuesday that Ukrainian forces "right now have" more fighter jets than they had two weeks ago.
