Senior Biden Adviser Says White House Will Start Acting on Reparations Without Congress

A senior adviser to President Joe Biden said the White House will act without Congress to develop proposals for reparations, or direct payments to African Americans.
White House senior adviser Cedric Richmond told Axios on Sunday: “We don’t want to wait on a study. We’re going to start acting now.”
“We have to start breaking down systemic racism and barriers that have held people of color back and especially African Americans,” Richmond added to the outlet. “We have to do stuff now.”
“If you start talking about free college tuition to [historically black colleges and universities] and you start talking about free community college in Title I and all of those things, I think that you are well on your way,” he remarked, noting that a timeline for Congress’s commission to study reparations was not known.
Legislation for reparations was first introduced by Rep. John Conyers (D-Mich.) in 1989. In recent years, Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas) has repeatedly introduced the measure.
White House press secretary Jen Psaki last month told reporters that Biden is open to creating a commission to study the proposal.
“He certainly would support a study of reparations,” she said. “He understands we don’t need a study to take action right now on systemic racism, so he wants to take actions within his own government in the meantime.”
The idea of reparations has been flagged as problematic for a variety of reasons, including how recipients of reparations would be selected, how much would be doled out, who would foot the bill, and how much it would actually cost.
House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn (D-S.C.) said in 2019 to the Post and Courier that “pure reparations would be impossible to implement, but we can deal with the issue [of racial inequality] if we just admit, first of all, that it exists and then come up with some straightforward ways to deal with it.”
In the interview, Clyburn said a debate about reparations would lead to a debate about who would be eligible due to extensive family trees that have come about following the abolition of slavery more than 150 years ago. Clyburn said that some white people could make claims to reparations, saying they have family ties to former slaves.
“Is that a fair way to do it?” Clyburn asked. “I say not.”

My great grandmother was Native American. The blacks were sold as slaves but the Native Americans had all their land stolen when the white men like Joe Biden wanted it. Joe Biden and the rest of the communist are a racist against Native Americans. They took our lands and stuck us on Reservations (prison camps). The people like Joe Biden (US Government) murdered Native American men, women, and children so they would be free to steal everything we had.
What about taking better care of the Native Americans? As I said you do not hear one word about Native Americans from these Racist Rich White Communist. My guess is they don’t give a damn about the blacks. The communist are using black people to divide the country. Hey racist communist come on down to our gaming tables so we can take your wampum. While you a racist are there get a few packs of smokes on the cheap to kill yourself with. I bet we have killed more racist white people with cheap smokes than we ever did in battle. Just remember all government people speak with a forked tongue and their word is worthless.
Pick up a history book and study what all was done to the Native Americans. Past history is the best predictor of the future for you. Clue number 1 – they took our rifles and put us in a prison camp to starve. Once we gave up our means of self defense we were doomed. Sensible gun control means take your method of self defense away from you so they can destroy you. You might detect I am a little upset about the subject of Native American treatment at the hands of the US Government.
Your people might be next so get your head out of that dark place. Don’t let the communist divide us by race and social level. Come together as one great nation to put these communist in their place. Where is that place, prison for life would be a good start after you have stripped all their stolen wealth. Don’t kill them because that would be far to easy on them. Make them suffer for decades and keep them alive as long as possible.
This is one of the most ridiculous actions Biden has extracted from what remains of his suffering brain, and one that he intends to carry out without the consent of the Congress. What else can we expect from the much too Senior Biden?
