THE WORLD. A people's tribunal based on the Rome Statute has sentenced a number of world leaders, finance and business leaders. Prime Minister Stefan Löfven alongside names like Donald Trump, Angela Merkel, Elon Musk, Xi JinPing, Klaus Schwab, Rockefeller, Elizabeth II, Vladimir Putin and Justin Trudeau are convicted of crimes against humanity.
Convictions apply to what are considered criminal coronary restrictions that, with a growing body of evidence, cause the deaths of over one million people worldwide. Other judgments concern risks and injuries due to harmful drugs (vaccines) and fifth generation mobile networks (5G).
Sweden signed the so-called Rome Statute about 20 years ago, which is the basis for the People's Tribunal called: "Natural and Common Law Tribunal for Public Health and Justice" to be arranged and implemented.
According to documentation on the Riksdag's website dated 11 April 2001, the Rome Statute was signed under the leadership of Prime Minister Göran Persson and Minister of Justice Thomas Bodström.
The Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court, adopted on 17 July 1998, establishes a permanent international tribunal for the investigation and prosecution of genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes. Sweden signed the Charter in October 1998. In order for the Charter to enter into force and for the International Criminal Court to take effect, 60 states must ratify the Charter. It can be expected to take place in the spring of 2002. The bill proposes that Sweden ratify the Rome Statute and thereby issue explanations regarding the languages and the communication route to be used in cooperation with the International Criminal Court. The trial started on November 29, 2020 and shortly thereafter, convictions were announced. The list of fallen people is striking because it includes most senior heads of state who are currently in power in the world. The Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven is just one in a line of people in power who have been sentenced to decades in prison for crimes against humanity. Behind the verdicts it is stated that there is extensive scientific documentation as well as individual testimonies and observations.
Those in power must put the people of the world first
Michael Zazzio, who was one of 31 judges in the tribunal from a number of countries, says that it is now up to Interpol, Swedish police or military to detain the Swedish rulers who have been convicted, which he admits is problematic because the current government controls these resources.
For most people, it is unknown that our leaders can be prosecuted and convicted by people's courts, but since Sweden has signed the Rome Statute, it is entirely possible, says Zazzio. The tribunal that is perhaps best known to the public is the Nuremberg tribunal when war criminals were detained, convicted and imprisoned, but that tribunal was not initiated by a popular movement but by the establishment of power. That is a crucial difference.
There is good reason to believe that this tribunal, which sentenced most heads of state to long prison terms, aroused strong feelings among some in power. Perhaps this is most likely due to the fact that the tribunal as a phenomenon has the power to arouse strong ideas in a public that is tired of its leaders.
Zazzio hopes that the judges will influence those in power to better prioritize their decisions for the good of the people. He also wants popular movements around the world to be strengthened in his work to take back power to the people of the world.
None of the defendants appeared during the trial, which was held online, but all were called. Judgments cannot be appealed.
