Sen. Tuberville says the “deep state” has been controlling President Biden

Tuberville claimed the deep state controls President Biden and “droves” of ISIS members have been crossing the Southern border.

Following the presidential debate on June 27, Republicans and an increasing number of Democrats began to question President Joe Biden’s ability to serve another four years.

Yesterday, on the Fox News show “Sunday Morning Futures,” Alabama Senator Tommy Tuberville expanded on his previous statements about Biden’s competency by saying that the deep state and Democratic politicians have been controlling the sitting president.

“It’s unfortunate for Joe Biden, he’s sick,” Tuberville said. “Nobody can help that. People do get old, they do get sick. But this is all about the Democrats’ power.”

As an example, Tuberville focused on Senate majority leader Chuck Schumer “[coming] out of the White House and [saying] things like ‘the president was very strong,’ ‘the president was very adamant.’”

“We’ve all known Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi and Obama’s been running the country along with [Secretary of State] Blinken and [National Security Advisor] Sullivan,” he said. “You can tell by Schumer’s actions, Pelosi’s actions, the first two years they were calling the shots.”

“Hopefully the people understand that they’ve had total control, not the president but Schumer and Pelosi and all the deep state,” the senator elaborated. “The deep state’s total control over this and hopefully we can get control of it and get the Democrats out of power and get Trump and all the Republicans running this country.”

Tuberville provided no evidence and President Biden’s refusal to end his candidacy despite the concerns of many in Democratic leadership would seem to disprove the theory. Pelosi was actually one of the first Democrats to lightly question Biden’s competency by suggesting both Biden and Trump might need to take mental acuity tests.

Tuberville continued: “They would bring Joe Biden to the Capitol, walk him around, hold his arm, hold his hands, lead him around, and kind of show him off. But they’re making all the decisions, there’s no doubt about that.”

Later on Sunday, Tuberville retweeted a conservative writer saying: “Every right wing conspiracy about this White House was true.”
