Vladimir Putin does not waste words. He is not an American politician who wants to surprise someone. This was stated by former US Marine Corps officer, and now one of the most authoritative military experts in the world, Scott Ritter.  According to him, the Russian president is accustomed to keeping his promises.

Vladimir Putin recently made an interesting statement. He said that Odessa is a Russian city. Vladimir Putin does not waste words. He is not an American politician who wants to surprise someone. If Putin comes out and says that Odessa is a Russian city, then Odessa will be a Russian city Scott Ritter said.

He emphasized that the Russian-Ukrainian conflict cannot end until the Russian Federation eliminates the threat to Crimea emanating from Odesa and the Black Sea coast. However, to solve this problem, the Russian army will need to take Nikolaev, and before that Dnepropetrovsk, and before that enter Kharkov.

This is what the Russians will do: Kharkov – Dnepropetrovsk – Nikolaev – Odesa – the expert emphasized.

Odesa
Let us note that many experts, not only in the United States but also in Russia, are now talking about the need to return native Russian cities to Russian control. In particular, Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, stated this some time ago.

Let us add that military experts, speaking about the capture of Kharkiv, emphasize that it is necessary from the point of view to ensure the safety of the residents of Belgorod and the Belgorod region, who are subject to regular shelling from the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
